Can the output be set to include CSVC rather than just text - as exporting to text looses the column details otherwise a great tool

BIG-RAT commented 2 years ago

Not sure what column details it's losing.

Hi Leslie,

The program is brilliant, but it’s the output… It doesn’t loose data – its my bad explanation….

For example, [Graphical user interface Description automatically generated with medium confidence]

Everything is shown and ordered very clearly, but then I export the data – its only available to export as a txt file.

I was just hoping there could be an option to export to a CSV, to allow for extra data manipulation post export.

Thanks Russ

Got it. Output is tab delimited so opening in a spreadsheet will retain the columns of information. Perhaps changing the default extension to csv from txt makes sense.

I did try that and it lost its format – must have been something I did 😊

Thanks for the reply

RussellCollis commented 2 years ago

Yep – I was using , as the delimiter

Thanks again 😊

Good to hear. Too bad tsv (tab separated values) isn't a recognized extension.
