update settings template to include log-dir option #101

The cluster submission settings template now requires a setting for a new key log-dir. See commit 3dd38a780eb4d559b83d3e7e96a0660a88b54ff2

The default settings template doesn't have this key. This breaks the pipeline for cluster submissions.
