Very annoying GUI bug in Mac M1/2/3 #197

There's a Mac specific bug with the GUI with the recent macs.

Super annoying, it makes ABBA unusable.

Here's a stack trace, I'm not even sure it's directly related:

ah AH! If I hover over the slice handle and then right click to remove the slice, then I can't select anything once it is removed

I can't select the green stuff on mac to translate the slices.... Acutally the 'extremal ones' do not work
