To display the sales amount by Channel in USA

For executive managers, they need the high level information of sales breaking down to channels.

Tech Spec: To display the sales by channels in a pie chart for latest year and use a table to list the numbers by Year VS Channel. e.g 2005 2006 2007 .... Channel1 X X X Trending line Channel2 Y Y Y Trending line

Also, This report can accept one year or multiple years.

In term of font/size/color/bkg, so far no spec on this. If you quick turn this around, show me some examples, I can tell you my preference.
2. Do you want the pie chart and the table on the same page? If so, Pie Chart on the top? Yes, I hope they are on the same page. It depends. If the size is proper, i dont mind they are side by side.

Possible Solutions: 1) Generate a table showing sales amount by year (column group) vs channel (row group). A trend line at the end of each row will show fluctuation of sales amount over years. By default, the report will show sales amount of all years and all channels. The users can choose to view sales amount of specific years. 2) The second part of this report will have a pie chart showing only sales amount or percentage of the latest year, breaking down by channel.
