What you have in the log really depends on what data the player is providing. The goal should be something that can be imported as CSV, which includes the following at least:
Image ID that was classified (use the Flickr ID)
Whatever metadata you think they've provided (eg, tagged a 'flower')
Any confidence measures built into your game (eg, this person is correct on control samples 75% of the time).
Ideally, something that identifies a unique player, so we can get an idea of how long someone plays your game and how much data we get from them in a sitting.
In terms of gameplay, here are some of the comments:
The fox is great! And the idea is super. It's got that addictive quality to it.
It's too difficult to start. Suggest starting with 1 tag option and add in extras as the player progresses. It's much more realistic to get the player to memorise 1 tag at a time than 4 all at once (while the fox is already running).
Related to that, the speed of the fox should probably be slower to start off and speed up over time. Think of it as a way to add 'levels' to the game. The speed is particularly a problem if there's any lag because the frame rate makes it difficult to see the image and process it in time.
Pairing tags with colours and keeping them consistent across plays would also aid in that memorisation for players. For example, maybe 'flora' is always green. The goal is to get them tagging correctly, not to memorise a new board quickly.
the tags 'landscape' and 'portrait' have been confusing some people, because these terms are also used by printers to denote the orientation of the page. You might consider changing these tags to 'view of landscape' or 'personal portrait' instead. Or something like that.
Clarify how the score works. This could just be an intro screen that says "you get 10 points for suchandsuch".
On Macs, the CTRL + left arrow is a hot key that loads a menu screen. This interferes with gameplay. Changing this to a letter key would remove this problem.
