KN to organise - liaise with Lost London history people - will ask Locating London's Past for contacts -

ideas - talk in morning; geo-caching event/historical orienteering in the afternoon - ending in pub meet with possibly a reading of some of the newspaper text of Chartist meetings.

possible venues - Prince of Wales Feathers tavern, W1T 5LD 59 Tottenham Court Road was another venue = now opposite the 'we will rock you' theatre Cheshire Cheese, Philip’s Buildings, Somer’s Town - is this now the Somers Town Coffee House? Another nice location. 'Shoemakers’ Clock House, Castle-street, Leicester Square' was another venue, though I doubt it still exists. The 'monster meetings' were held on Kennington Common.(now park) - a bit far to walk to, though we could put it on a self-guided map.
