INSTALL FRESH SOURCE #11

Hi,

I have 6 Banana Pi M3 and i want to update the source. Please guide me step by step. What to connect and how to do that.

Can i use Mac to do that or do i need Ubuntu/Windows pc ?

Please guide me step by step on what to do...becouse the information is not very clear for me.

Hi Pink. I recommend that you install Oracle's Virtualbox and install a Ubuntu 14 64-bit on it. Then download the source here and build the kernel on it. You can read their gitbook about it.

So i have to use a real pc to update the Banana Pi M3 board?

Can you tell me the steps one by one what to do and how? their gitbook is not very clear for me...

how are Banana Pi M3 board going update the source if i build the kernel on another pc??

You can use the https://github.com/BPI-SINOVOIP/bpi-build to cross-compile the kernel on an Docker Container.

I have updated the dependencies here to build BPI-M3-bsp.
