for this problem, I have the following information:

  1. This issue might occur after reseting many times,
  2. It can't be recovered by press reset button, a power cycle is requried to recover
  3. Both image(1333MHz preloader and 1600MHz+patch) have the same the problem,

Hi Gary, I was able to reproduce this after many reboots too, you should be able to reproduce it too by adding a reboot in crontab (for example: each 10 minutes)

frank-w commented 5 years ago

this seems to be part of uboot (here i guess 2014-04)

have you seen this issue again on new preloader/uboot?

asac commented 5 years ago

hmm ... would love to upgrade... where is the latest preloader and uboot?

frank-w commented 5 years ago

last preloader see here: http://forum.banana-pi.org/t/boot-fails-with-self-build-u-boot/5460/42

latest uboot on my repo (e.g. 2019-07-bpi-r2) https://github.com/frank-w/u-boot
