HR & Payroll presently in Navision 2016 can be migrated to Business Central and can made operational even without any of our other module operational in Business central. HR & payroll module has a least dependency on other modules. Though there are some dependency with accounts & MIS module. Way to take care has also been detailed out below.

Accounts-Journal Entry
Below is the way:
All the HR & payroll module objects are lying in 3Cr object series. All these objects can be renamed to 50000 series
For table objects, data should also be transferred to new tables in 50K series3.
Once done, do a test run for payroll processing by involving HR as well
Once payroll is processed successfully. the journal entries thus created should not be posted in Business central but should be transferred to Navision 2016 for posting in Chart of accounts. this operation must be done as we are going to maintain accounts module in nav 2016 for the time being.
Daily attendance table data from business central should also be moved to Daily attendance table in Nav 2016 on month on month basis for MIS purpose
Payroll module can be run in parallel (both in BC & NAV) for couple of months. Once data integrity achieved, payroll module in nav2016 can be discarded and payroll module in business central can be operational
