For clarity of terminology, you shouldn't be allowed to select Legiones Auxilia for an allied detachment of Solars where your primary detachment is Legiones Hereticus (not adeptus)
I understand what the issue is here and it'll get fixed in the next release
Was my mistake I had to move the entry one higher, but probably didn't account for how that would impact. Probably done with the change which allows hereticus to have Inductii as per FAQ

My mistake! Lots of Legiones and Adeptus left and right in this bug report I realize! :D
Updated description to properly reflect the nomenclature
Will be fixed in next release
Describe the bug When building an army with a primary detachment of Emperor's Children, you get the option of running as either Legiones Astartes or Legiones Hereticus. If you add an allied detachment of Solar Auxilia, you get an error message if you do not add Solar Auxilia under Allegiance, this regardless of if you've previously chosen to build an Legiones Astartes or Legiones Hereticus list. As per the rules in Battle for Beta-Garmon, Legiones Auxilia is not to be used with Legiones Hereticus, Blackshields or Shattered Legions lists.
To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Expected behavior Expected would be that if Legiones Hereticus (or Blackshields, or Shattered Legions) has been chosen for the primary detachment, there should be no need to select Solar Auxilia under Allegiance for an allied Solar Auxilia detachment.
