Description: Taking a detachment made up of faction keyword Nurgle (or another Chaos God) is popular for thematic and sometimes competitive reasons, but for all of 8th edition, it's never been an option in BattleScribe for some reason. Maybe because until January, people just used Chaos faction keywords detachments. Regardless, this is very annoying because often I want to make a list with BattleScribe, but realize I can't use it for a particular list because this option is unavailable.

It is an option; you just need to use a child detachment to combine catalogues to have Daemons and CSM into one detachment. See here https://github.com/BSData/wh40k/wiki/Creating-Detachments-Using-Multiple-Factions for how to do this.

Just remember that you won't get any mono-faction abilities if you do so.
