Description: Thank you for pointing me to the FAQ. Keeping up with the rules is quite difficult, I think you will agree.

I do think there has been a misunderstanding somewhere. Please let me provide some more information.

In 8th Edition, Space Wolves had access to the custom unit Wolf Priest which was our apothecary, now in 9th edition, we do not have that unit anymore. Instead, Space Wolves now have access to units in the Space Marine Codex, excluding those UNITS listed on page 124.

Page 124 says that "Space Wolves: The following units cannot be from the Space Wolves Chapter (or any of their successor Chapters): APOTHECARY; ASSAULT SQUAD; DEVASTATOR SQUAD; STERNGUARD VETERAN SQUAD; TACTICAL SQUAD; VANGUARD VETERAN SQUAD."

Those UNITS cannot be included, it does not say that units with those keywords cannot be included.

The FAQ you pointed me to states "Page 145 – Primaris Apothecary Change this unit’s keywords line to read: ‘KEYWORDS: Infantry, Character, Primaris, Apothecary’ ".

This does not change the name of the unit, just the keywords that the unit has. This would mean that it is still eligible for selection by Space Wolves as it is not listed on page 124.

I believe the change to the Primaris Apothecary keywords is to allow use of the Stratagem Combat revival which states "Use this Stratagem at the end of your Movement phase. Select one APOTHECARY "

Dude. Page 124 isn’t listing unit names. It’s listing KEYWORDS that cannot be used. It’s why it’s all caps and bolded. If a unit has a KEYWORD on that list, it can not be included. Primaris Apothecary has, by your own admission, the APOTHECARY keyword.

Nope unfortunately that is 100% correct re units.

The only unit that is a wolf priest keyword is Ulric - surely there's a cock up in the rules as written?

Like the only way to heal the wolfy guys is with CP and literally one Model.

Other Primaris units such as the lietenant have been given the Wolf Guard Pack Leader keyword, or the biker unit gains the SwiftClaw keyword.

Surely the Primaris Apothecary should gain the Space Wolf Priest keyword or something?

Am I making sense or just being stupid here?
