Cannot confirm transaction to send BTCP from Ledger #86

My Ledger never pops up a confirm. I am using the Bitcoin Private Electrum P!1.1.1 version of the software. I have the newest firmware and newest app for BTCP on my Ledger Nano. I open the software, enter the address to send it to, enter the amount, and click send. It goes through it's signing process and then pops up saying "Confirm Transaction on your Ledger device...", but nothing ever pops up on the device. I use my Ledger for many other currencies and it works fine with the confirmation. Is there an issue sending BTCP to other wallets or exchanges? Am I missing a step I need to do? I even went to the addresses tab and tried selecting the address that had the coins, and clicking spend from there. I get the same result.

On the Ledger website for this software, https://support.ledgerwallet.com/hc/en-us/articles/360003294734-How-to-install-and-use-Bitcoin-Private-BTCP- , it has a note half way down spending is disabled on version 1.1.1 How can I get my coins? I tried using version 1.1.0 but it constantly says invalid sequence, I even tried the troubleshooting in the issues section of this github. Any help would be great, I would greatly like to retrieve my btcp coins.

On the Electrum BTCP 1.1.1 wallet when trying to send coins it goes to "Confirm transaction on your ledger device..." using latest ledger 1.5.5 firmware and it times out, or when it eventually does ask for confirmation on the ledger, it takes many minutes and fails with an error message.
