improve layout with icons #1

LGTM. now I just want to think about which specific icons are best to represent these projects.

Icons in HTML lists improve UX and accessibility by providing quick visual cues, enhancing appeal, and aiding in content scanning. I'm happy to change them or have them removed, just give me some clear instructions on what you would prefer.
