I really like your idea because there are a lot of people (me included) that enjoy playing pickup games of all kinds of different sports, but sometimes it's hard to stay in the loop to know when/where such events will take place, and sometimes people want to branch out to other groups/sports. I also think the project will likely be simple and straightforward, which makes it a good choice for the purposes of this class.
Regarding what I can contribute, I've taken CS260 so I have basic web programming skills and I'm definitely eager to learn new languages/frameworks as needed. My python skills are solid. I would be happy to take on any position/responsibilities as a member of the team!
