I couldn't figure out what the parenthesized comment "(as in the example above where we committed the files)" was referring to, since it sounds like it's talking about using unique prefixes of hashes, which don't seem to be explicitly shown in the document. So it could be good to clarify or delete that maybe?

Other than that there was just an extra backtick.

Yep, there was a screenshot that wasn't helpful enough to merit inclusion, I guess I missed that reference to it.
