The dictionnary (dico.txt) was updated using the XLSX file.
To create dico.txt from the xlsx file I used Notepad++:
\t
to ;
_
in "key_DO_NOT_MODIFY" header itemKorean and chinese language now work properly. This was an issue with Tahoma font which does not support chinese and korean characters. To fix this, I:
I leave the issue open for now in case there are additional modifications required to fully support all the languages in dico.txt.
Update of Japanese version (dico.txt pushed)
Update of developers + Czech version and contributor. dico_BaRatin_V11.xlsx BaRatin_languages_contributors.txt
I removed the 'bug' label, but added the 'v2.2' milestone as a reminder to use the latest dico.txt file before final compilation and diffusion
New version with automatic translations in Romanian, Dutch, Serbian, Hungarian, Slovenian, Slovak, Polish, Finnish, Estonian, Russian, Ukrainian, Swedish, Armenian, Persian.
Potential correctors for all these languages have been contacted, not sure if and when they will reply though. The validated languages are highlighted in green (first row).
Polish corrected
Finnish corrected dico_BaRatin_V12.xlsx BaRatin_languages_contributors.txt
Romanian and Farsi (Persian) corrected
Bulgarian and Russian corrected, languages re-ordered (WMO languages first then alphabetic order of language IDs)
Thanks Jerome, but note that release v2.2.1 comes with the previous version of the dico (without Bulgarian and Russian corrected).
ok, that will be ready for next version (and for updates of dico.txt on the fly).
I forgot John Laronne (Hebrew)...
Slovenian contributor added
Slovak and Hungarian corrected
Help!
Hi Jérôme, looks like several quotation marks " were added in the file which breaks BaRatinAGE when importing the dictionnary... They are all in the "bg" column between lines. After removing them, BaRatinAGE starts fine. Not sure if this is bug or an expected behavior...
I tested both removing the quotation marks and escaping them by adding \ before (i.e. replacing " by \"), and both fix the issue.
Also note that there is an unwanted line break at line 140 which also breaks BaRatinAGE and must be removed.
Great, thanks for the fix. Can you push it on the github please?
done! I chose to escape the quotation marks and I removed the line break at line 140. (commit e042a16f03cf1a4672fc23da3d81569f5df5fd01)
Thanks. I've corrected the problems in this Excel version and updated dico.txt (many languages were missing after the break in line 140).
Merci pour ta rapiditude, Ivan! dico_BaRatin_V15.xlsx
Note that for BaRatinAGE v3, translations are now in file /resources/i18n/translations.csv
which is a tab seperated file very similar to the old dico.txt file.
Note that translations are now stored in resources/i18n
folder. Each language has its own translations_xx.properties file. Please refere to the documentation at https://baratin-tools.github.io/en/doc/baratinage/going-further/ for details on how to add a language (or modify an existing one).
