Okey, so I had Bluetooth up and running with my Raspberry with latest Volumio. Both Bluetooth-audio and Volumio did a great job. But since I wasn't al to happy with sound quality I added a DAC. It's a suptronics x920, basically an IQaudio DAC plus. Added the DAC to my RPi and selected it in Volumio. Worked instantly. At that point however, bluetooth-audio was of course still coming from the RPi's jack.

Ran the script again to add the DAC and Bluetooth. When I use bluetooth the sound is now coming from my DAC's jack. The volume is to low, but that's not the biggest problem. Because when I start Volumio I get the message that he failes to open Alsa device and it won't play. So now I have bluetooth-audio, but no Volumio. Disconnecting the Bluetooth is not helping.

Now I'm really puzzled. Volumio (with DAC) was doing a great job before I added the DAC in the bluetooth-script. I have no idea what went wrong. Anyone with similar issues?

apparently hw:1,0 was picked for my DAC. But aplay -l showed me the automated setting was wrong. Changed it to hw:0,0 in etc/mpd.conf and all is working now. Probably a noob thing, but hey, I am a noob at this...

Only problem remaining is that bluetooth audio output is on pretty low volume.
