Do we invoice our sponsors?
set up a paypal account?
@jenlampton do you have any experience with this?

I have a sponsor to buy the domain for us, but no way to accept monies.

what are the donations for? Do we have any expenses? Maybe we should ask people to donate directly to the orgs we're helping instead.

yeah, we should have people donate to the orgs, and have them buy their own domain names and hosting. I don't think we want to be on the hook for that stuff long term.

edit: oh, did you mean for backdropforgood.org itself? We can put that site on one of the existing backdrop servers. No need to pay for separate hosting. We can also pay for the domain name out of the backdrop account. If people want to donate, maybe we have them go through SFConservancy just like for Backdrop?

sounds good. I was more thinking about the backdrop4good.org domain itself and our site hosting, but we'll use subdomain for now.
