font display unable to type or correct it #8

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. BASE_FONT=(1) changed to m$"Tunga" then Kannada script displayed but
unable to type/correct it.Keyboard will not work.
tested with photest.tif it works with keyboard no problem.
(2)if changed to "BRH Kannada" kannada script will not display nor correct it
or retype it using BarahaIME tool

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
It appears that UTF-8 does not support properly?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
version 1.01 and 1.02 winXPSp3

Please provide any additional information below.
