Huawei e182e Troubles #241

Have a WL500-W and a Huawei e182e HSPA 3G Modem!
Problem: Router (WL-500W) loads CD-Rom flash before modem self = Mass Storage 
and no chance to get a connection to the internet!
I have to flash the 3G Modem to disable all functions except the modem function 
self!
Is there no other way to get this work? USB Modeswitch maybe?

None of us has Huawei e182e. USB Modeswitch should work, but it is better to 
ask such question at Modeswitch forum or wl500g.info forum.
