No WiFi traffic if enter Chars in Authentication WiFi Key

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. asus wl series routers with broadcom wifi
2. wep 128 bit encryption + key in Hex format
3. if enter in Windows (XP or 7 - no matter) Authentication WiFi Key 13 chars 
(NOT 26 Hex digits) than connection established but NO traffic

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

What version of the product are you using?
on all versions 1.9.2.7-d

Please provide any additional information below.
Windows and others routers with others firmwares allow enter WiFi key WEP-128 
by 26 Hex digits or 13 chars.
1.9.2.7-d allow only in 26 Hex digits.
when connected from Windows XP/7 to router and enter 13 chars WiFi key than 
connection to ruoter established but NOT recieve IP address by DHCP and no any 
traffic - "0" in recieve packets statistics.

13-char key isn't supported by 1.9.2.7-d
try out 1.9.2.7-rtn if your model is supported

not about input in router!!!

router accept only 26 Hex digits - I understanded.

but Windows support BOTH method of Key input - 13 chars or 26 Hex digits

and when you find wifi network not any desription WHAT key must be entered!

13 chars and 26 Hex digits are EQUAL for input. they are SAME!

13 chars =26 Hex digits

for Windows not matter what you input.

and repeat once more:

if in Windows enter 13 chars of Key - Key accepted, client joined to AP, but NO 
traffic!
