6 years ago Boy, we really used issues to document existential questions in the early stage of this project.
Some secondary outcomes we're going to target:
1) Documentation / blog posts of best practices for reaching partisan audiences. 2) A toolkit that can help provide structured information about a reader's biases. 3) A series of experimental interfaces that approach the question of "how to reach partisan audiences with credible information"
Closing this meta-issue for now but lets keep an eye out for additional outcomes as they crop up. This will also be easier to codify in milestones.
The product goal is a very challenging one: creating technology that reaches people and is able to help them become more reliably informed.
Given that challenge, we want to make sure that what we create provides more immediate value in the form of testing thoughtful hypotheses and building technical tools that might have additional applications.
Basically, how can we make sure there is value even when this effort completely fails.
