We won't even consider applications from people who have not stopped by to talk to us on our Community DIscord: https://discord.gg/F4NRA8NNGw
About a month and a half ago, the fine Badger Vipes started creating badger avatars in Cryptopunk esquestyle images to use as his discord profile picture. After settling on a design, many community members reached out for their own, which he was glad to accommodate. The whole thing has been a grassroots movement and if you pop by the discord you will see many team and community members proudly showcasing the designs. This has been quite the movement and our community is so strong. We are now working on developing these as NFT’s, to create a collectible focused on community participation. We are all Badgers. We are looking for people with experience to help design the generation models. We have finalized the 5 badger base types:
We are now enlisting the community's help to define attributes. Currently we have ~70 attributes for the Badgers to be outfitted in.
The collection will be made up of 21,000 badgers. What should the weighting distribution be for each of the 5 badger base types?
The challenge also becomes how to define the rarity allocation. Should certain attributes carry more weight? Should x # of attributes on a badger define rareness, or should it be defined on the rarity of each separate attribute. Maximum attributes per badger would be 8 (hat, hair, chain, smile, beard, cig, glasses, earring) but for aesthetic purposes 5 seems to be the fitting max.
There is also the issue of series, currently we have a wrestling series which includes ~10 designs which are a combination of attributes. We also have a number of badgers made by hand for our community. It would be nice to have a way to fit these into the scheme. Submission of rarity models can help us break down the allocations and set the baseline for us to develop the generation of the badgers. One concern becomes the # of colours on the palette used to generate the base layers & attributes. How can the colour scheme define rarity? Should background colour perhaps define rarity? Not all badgers should have all traits, and it would be best if they combined in a way that was generally aesthetically pleasing and/or interesting.
If we were to define using attribute counts:
Attribute examples Nevadensis base + snapback = 1 attribute
European Badger base + blunt + hair + glasses = 3 attributes
European Badger base + blunt + afro + sideburns+ gold chain + red inner eye= 5 attributes
Ultimately, come off with a model you think showcases creativity and fits a rarity model which can help define the collection. There are no incorrect models, thinking outside the box is not frowned upon #defi.
Prize pool of 50 Badger First: 25 Badger Second: 15 Badger Third: 10 Badger
Any plan we use will also win a rare Avi.
