Lightmode/Darkmode preferences not saved between sessions #2

When closing the app in dark mode, reopening the app will bring out the app in light mode. Remembering the dark mode / light mode preferences of users is probably a nice quality-of-life feature to have since dark mode preferring users do not want to switch into dark mode every time they boot up the app.

This will be a nice-to-have increment that we will consider in the future. As this is a suggestion, we will not accept it as a bug.
