WOTC 5e Player's Handbook: Elf character not offered the choice of subrace #1067

In the PHB, a base Elf does not have proficiency with a longbow. One gets that proficiency by choosing a subrace. After loading the 5e PHB in PCGen 6.08.00.RC8, the Elf subrace options aren't listed, just "Elf Base ~ Default" . It looks like the subraces are in ph_abilities.lst, though. I'll probably attempt some further investigation, but this will be my first attempt at researching a possible LST issue, so no idea how far I'll get.

Figured it out: one needs to add the Race Base ~ Default to get the base features of the race, then the subrace category will be available.
