Unearthed Arcana #69

I know you have said in the past that Unearthed Arcana was not a priority since pcgen can support it. From what I can tell though, PC gen only has a small subset of UA prestige classes. If I want to use any of the variant classes like wildshape ranger, I'm out of luck. Any plans to possibly add some of the missing UA classes?

Hi Mate!

I'm in the middle of work for the core book 'Mutants and Masterminds 3e' at this time (Implementing powers), and then I was contemplating adding Set 2 to Dragon Age (just to wrap that system up). Then finally tackle forgotten realms campaign setting set and the reliant PG interaction in 3.5.

I normally interrupt the big projects for any reported bugs to get those fixed. I also toss things together for individual requests that are needed within a very short time frame. One class, a couple of feats, a small subsystem, etc. With that said, I do not want to duplicate work on a book that can be made, and/or, in this particular case. is in the official pcgen release unless there is an overwhelming reason to do so. My goal has been to give support to fellow homebrewers and pcgen users in offering books that will not ever be seen officially in pcgen.

I am a bit intrigued though, have you actually made a request to the pcgen guys for the additional materials in the book? Something I have noticed about the guys over there, they tend to respond to those that ask for help or sources. Mind you, entire books are the most time consuming function you can ask them for. They tend to only deliver a few books since those are huge endeavors. I realize that I might make it look easy, but I also have the leeway of not having the highest quality control standards and most of the books I offer aren't completely finished. Though I am up front about it. I am only one bloke with a passion for gaming, but not perfect.

If you have a particular request (one class) and a time crunch I will help you out.

I'll give that a shot and let you know what I find out. I'm mainly after the variant versions of the standard classes. If all else fails I'll just have to take another shot at editing the files myself. You would think that simply swapping out ranger combat specialization for wildshape would be easy, but the file format is really gnarly...

Just a quick update mate. After sweet talking Andrew (and a few other people asking him about the set), we have managed to convince him to work on the book. OGL prevents a few bloodlines (Gith, Yuanti, Slaadi) from being included. Once he is finished, I will make a custom set that includes those missing bloodlines. Does that satisfy the requirements of your request mate?
