Dear Developer(s),

I would like to ask if this package can also do electron and phonon transport calculations for 2D materials.

Thank you.

Hello,

For now, the program cannot do calculation for 2D materials. It lacks model for boundary scattering, which should be important for 2D materials.

Hi developers: Could you explain the boundary scattering in 2D materials in more details, do you mean the scattering events in the limited dimension ( usually z direction )?

And i have another question. Since the input phonon information is not specified as 3rd ifcs, can i assume that the output thermal conductivity is the result with considering the 4th ifcs ( or higher ) ?

generally yes. the length in z direction is in nano scale, which usually having quantum confinement effect for electron and phonon transport.
