What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open Mytracks - That is it. Force Closes right away

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
- The expected output? um.. to open a fully function version of the program and
record my tracks

What version of MyTracks are you using? On what version of Android? On what
phone?
- Android Version 2.2 on the Verizon Driod Eris

If possible please provide a log. Either upload here or send to mytracks-
support@google.com.
Detailed instructions can be found here:
http://code.google.com/p/mytracks/wiki/HowToReportErrors

Please provide any additional information here:

This started happening when i updated to the newest version of Google maps. I
also updated to the new version of MyTracks around the same time. Since then,
I have been unable to use MyTracks.

Please help!!! I love your program and use it ALL the time!

Thanks,

Chris

This log doesn't show anything related to My Tracks - are you sure you grabbed
it right after seeing the crash?

think i took the wrong log. here is the new log - please see new file -
Android Device Log1.txt

p.s. - I cropped the information to where I see it first mentioned MyTracks.
Please let me know if this suffices.

cool let me know if you need anything else.

I guess I should also using a "cooked" rom. which is why I am running 2.2 on
the eris. Its Vanilla Tazz.. got it from droid forums. I will go and look to
see if they have an update.

That's good to know. I haven't investigated yet, but the log suggests that it
could be an issue with the Google APIs provided by the system, not the
appitself. I'll let you know.

ok... so I found that if I flash the original Google Apps back on to my phone
we are good to go. Apparently, whatever was malfunctioning was indeed cause by
Google Maps.

Thanks!!!

This is the google apps file that is floating around the web. Flashed in
recovery and then re-booted.
