GPX version changed 1.0 -> 1.1 - cant get files uploaded to mapmytracks.com and others

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Record a track
2. Export  as GPX
3. Upload to mapmytracks.com

Checking against older tracks saved in to GPX format I see that new tracks are 
now using GPX version 1.1, oposite to older ones that used 1.0.

XML headers are different but that should not be the problem,
<topografix:color>c0c0c0</topografix:color> TAG is now contained inside 
<extensions>  TAG, 
<trkpt lat="37,1543" lon="-7,88614"> TAG is using ","  (coma) for lat/long 
instead of "." (dot)

Replacing Headers, removing extensions TAG and replacing coma by dot in 
lat/long will "fix" the problem.

Please advise

mytracks Ver. 1.1.2 - This seem to start happening after last update
Android  2.2.1 - HTC Wildfire
