COSMOS v4 Support Timeline #1771

Hello,

Is there an expected EOL for COSMOS v4? I am unable to migrate to COSMOS v5 due to the Docker/Container requirement and am curious how long we can expect COSMOS v4 to continue to have support and updates.

COSMOS v4 is no longer being actively maintained. The underlying technology (Ruby 2.6 / 2.7) and Qt 4.8.6 is all end of life and no longer patched. I would recommend migrating to OpenC3. We have written up instructions to install OpenC3 directly on the host without containers although this is not an officially supported installation.
