Could you associate bluetooth before run Siphon and call

I associated bluetooth, listened to some voicemail to make sure it was going
through
the headset, then ran siphon and made a call. The audio came from the phone,
not the
headset.

I did a little more investigation. The iPod app on the phone also does not use
the
bluetooth handsfree device. I would bet that if I associated with a "headset"
profile instead of handsfree, it would work.

If you have a Bluetooth stereo headset & A2DP adapter for iPhone Siphon will
work over Bluetooth stereo. I
just tested it with my Jaybird JB-200. It will not work over the handsfree
profile. This is an apple limitation.

No more an iPhone issue. Should be fixed now because other SIP application have
it!

pysaumont, how do you use it? For example, I have a bluetooth handsfree in my
car.
Since a call on Siphon is not a regular call, the system in the car doesn't see
the
call. I can also dial numbers using the car's system, but again it's paired
with my
standard calling app. Are you saying that it's possible to use Siphon now for
all
this?
