The character is not moving at a constant rate, probably because it moves a certain distance per frame, at varying times, Make it so it moves at a constant distance per unit time rather than uneven frame, or just even out the time between frames.

Switched to Raylib because I'm lazy and it's easier than SDL and this was now fixed. You're very welcome
