Lots of cleaning up and simplifying code and separating files as they should be.
Not done with all files but doesn't appear to be broken at this stage.
settings are no longer saved as strings, and options.js code automatically converts from old string settings.
Added .gitignore so the .zip files won't clutter up the repo.
Removed unused script.js.
