Bounty Description

Axelar delivers secure cross-chain communication for Web3. Cross-chain communication means you can build a complete experience for your users that lets them interact with any asset, any application, on any connected chain with one click. Use Axelar’s General Message Passing (GMP) feature to enable dApps to call smart contracts cross-chain, delivering any payload or token transfer. These cross-chain contract calls are currently possible between the following networks: Aurora, Moonbeam, Ethereum, Polygon, Avalanche, Fantom, Binance. Some possibilities of cross-chain DApps built with GMP include DeFi apps, NFTs, wallets, and more!

Hackathon / Deadline

For NEAR HACKS NYC (nearhacks.com/nyc) from Sep 22-25

Rules

• Projects submitted must be newly created, or must have been significantly updated during the Hackathon
• Projects must use Axelar to connect with Aurora (as either the source or destination chain in cross-chain GMP calls)
• Bounty winners must complete KYC to receive the prize
• A public GitHub Repo is included in the submission
• A readme with instructions for accessing a public deployment of the project, or instructions for building and setting up the project locally (the project must be buildable by the judges)
• A demo video showcasing the project (optional but highly recommended)
• The project must use Axelar in a non-trivial role

Would like specifications from another chain to Aurora or Vice-Versa. Also examples of implementation would help

Hey thanks for the suggestions! I've edited the description to add the following

• Judges
• New Rules requirement that specifies projects must call from another chain to Aurora, or vice-versa (Aurora chain will be either source or destination in the cross-chain contract call and project)
• A simple Hello World example implementation
• Further example implementations can be found in the Example's repo, listed under resources section. We have over 10 example projects, and all of them are Aurora compatible. Simply replace the EVM chain described with Aurora
