A letter from Gizmo doesn't say anything about their STUN server but it's
natural to assume that this server will go down with the other services.
There are many STUN servers around, just google for stun server list.

idont know how you guys claiming these stun servers are fine.. NONE of them
EVER worked for me.. my isp have blocked 5060 port but i was assuming stun

STUN server helps SIP client (ATA or softphone) to figure out external IP
address and replace local IP address with external. It has nothing to do with
port blocking.

Update: My setup is still working fine with Gizmo5's STUN server.

Note that Sipsorcery acts like a STUN server replacing local IPs with external.
Thus, if your ATA is registered to Sipsorcery you should be okay regardless of
STUN server.

Closing as it appears the issue was resolved. Marking invalid as it was never
an issue with the scripts we distribute and maintain here.
