Not able to respec as merc to change race #183

When respecing a companion as a merc the changes to their races and appears does not take effect even after save, load, or game restart.

and to specify incase its specific to the character, am attempting to change Seelah. I am currently level 5 with my characters and have gone past the battle at the tavern.
