Key Areas to Track
We need to focus on three main areas:
Growth
Engagement
Web Analytics
I'll give you a little description of what I'm thinking for each.
1. Growth
Increase in Signups: Track the number of new user signups.
Active Users: Monitor the number of users who are actively using the platform.
Daily Active Users (DAU) & Monthly Active Users (MAU): Measure the daily and monthly active user counts.
2. Engagement
Retention: Measure the percentage of users who return to the platform at least once, 3 times, 5 times, and 10 times.
Session Duration: Track the amount of time users spend logged in on the platform, both per session and on average.
Feature Usage: Analyze how often specific features of the platform are being used.
3. Web Analytics
Bounce Rate per Page: Measure the percentage of visitors who leave the website after viewing only one page.
Funnel Analysis: Identify drop-off points in the user journey through the platform.
Clicks on Buttons, Signup Points, etc.: Track user interactions with key elements on the website, such as buttons and signup forms.
