Spanish Translation Proof Reading for Accuracy #5

We have had the Whitepaper and Website recently translated from English to Spanish.

Translations are hard and we just want to be sure we are 100% accurate with the information we are putting out!

We have the ability for you to work with the Translator so you can help with revising any errors or changes that should be applied.

My name is Diego Sibilia, and I was wondering if you also need an Italian native translator. I graduated from University of Bergamo with a Bachelor degree in Foreign Languages and Modern Literature and I also graduated from the University of Trieste with a Bachelor Degree in Translation and Interpreting.

I have 10 years experience localizing Web pages, apps, video games and content for Internet. During these years I developed specific skills for translation from English and Spanish to Italian.

Review / Proof of reading

After reading the whole white-paper in English & Spanish and the website doc, I came to the conclusion that both translations are not completely accurate for the following reasons:

I'm gonna show some suggestions of this translation. I wish I could show all of them but, it would take a significant amount of work and time equivalent to the translation itself, due to the number of inconsistencies. Also, that prolly would be out of the scope of this particular bounty.

Suggestions

Format will be the following ==> EN: [English sentence], ES: [translated Spanish sentence], ES fix: [suggested sentence in Spanish].

ES-Whitepaper fixes

  1. EN: A fluctations derivatives protocol for hedging yield sensitivity and market price. ES: Un protocolo de derivados de fluctuaciones para cubrir sensibilidad del rendimiento y precio de mercado. ES Fix: Un protocolo de derivados sobre activos fluctuantes para cubrir la sensibilidad del rendimiento y precio de mercado.

  2. EN: At the time, MakerDAO was starting to garner mainstream awareness and capture the imagination of what is now known as the DeFi, or decentralized finance, community. ES: En ese momento, MakerDAO estaba comenzando a generar conciencia generalizada y a capturar la imaginación de lo que ahora se conoce como la comunidad DeFi, que son finanzas descentralizadas. Good afternoon @MarkWardBro, I hope you are doing very well, I would like to know if this work is still active, since I quickly reviewed the translated document in Spanish, and detected several observations in the translation, mainly in spelling mistakes, wording of sentences and translations not made in images with text paragraphs and diagrams not translated. I don't know if you still need to do this activity, tell me to corroborate, greetings.

Note: Additionally I checked the website of your company, and apparently the translation is not being applied on the site in the different languages, in addition to presenting some technical observations.
