Open a document foobar.pdf in Acrobat Reader app (Android)
Share with Cool Maze
Scan QR-code in Internet Explorer
Save file

Suggested filename is the GCS object name. The original filename was lost.

The bug occurs in IE.

The filename is fine in Firefox and Chromium :

The GCS metadata for this file is : Content-Disposition: inline; filename="Statuts+SASU+Bartalog.pdf"

The "inline" might puzzle IE.

I got a similar problem today while uploading 2 PDF files from an Android (One Plus 9 Pro) selected in the "Files" app and sharing them to CoolMaze on my Ubuntu with Google Chrome.

A lot has changed since 2017:

IE is no more
all file contents and filenames are now end-to-end-encrypted (E2EE). As a consequence, no Content-Disposition header is supposed to contain a clear text filename anymore. The frontend JS code is supposed to decrypt and recompose the file contents and filenames.

Closing this bug and opening #585 instead
