Compatibility: LENOVO Legion Y540-15IRH #14

Model: Legion Y540-15IRH

Features that work as intended: Power Mode, Battery Mode, Always on USB, FN Lock, Touchpad Lock. Features that aren't supported by model: Hybrid Mode, Flip to Start, Over Drive.

While the latter two are correctly grayed-out, Hybrid Mode is shown as a working feature, but when I turned it on, my screen stopped working as soon as I rebooted my laptop. My model of Legion Y540-15IRH does not support Hybrid Mode .

Hey, that's weird. I guess there are two Y540-15IRH models with and without Hybrid Mode? I'm not sure how it should be changed then.

Yes. Some Y540 comes with a HF model of CPU, which has no hybrid mode. Are you using this kind of CPU?

I think so, but don't know for sure. I can give you my Legion's Machine Type Model if you want.

it's ok, no worries. Only thing I want to add is that the app is good for Y540 and if the author wants to make it better, can add CPU check to grey out the hybrid mode for some CPU like i7 9750HF, which doesn't have a built-in intel GPU so no hybrid mode.

Agreed. I had to use Microsoft Narrator to turn it off when my screen stopped working so it would be a nice feature.

Thanks for support! Compatibility will be added in 1.2.

As to this issue with H processors, I will take it in a separate issue later on.

@younyokel, please check whether 1.3 fixes the issue with Hybrid mode being available on your laptop, if not reopen this issue or create a new one just for that and I'll continue thinking how to detect it better :)
