We can use pandas, numpy, matplotlib for Python, and ggplot2, tidyverse for R. That will give us enough complexity for now, and cover most of the bases.
Out of the box, it's clear that at least some of the main repositories work, including Ubuntu updates. We need a definitive list of which repos are allowed in the default installation, and to find out how to add/remove/limit them.
One thing that isn't there, which could be nice, is to enable the snap
repo for Ubuntu.
To understand the process we need to employ for reviewing & approving s/w - only need a representative sample pacakge.
