unifying receiver not recognized #46

hi there. any chance someone can help me with getting one of my unifying adapter flashed...

i do have hundreds of those unifying adapter (u0007 and u0008) in my desk tried a lot of them, but none is working it always says "no compatible device found" tried on different linux distributions but with the same result
