The home page isn't entirely clear on whether this plugin actually supports 
anything other than GNOME-based OSes. A quick glance at the Python code 
indicates that it uses Python's FTP library, but I haven't looked closely. As 
far as Windows XP support goes, I tried putting the 2 files in "Program 
Files/gedit/lib/gedit-2/plugins" (my best guess), restarting, and the plugin 
still isn't listed. A bit of clarification would certainly be nice here, since 
FTP support is the only thing keeping me from using gedit as my main text 
editor under Windows.
