there is no way to get back to the initial screen #228

now that we are putting some functionality in the initial screen, it becomes interesting getting back to it.

this does not work properly: the next time you get into the SearchView, all of the interface is broken: no information in the infobox, the elements in the treeview cannot be expanded.
