I've been asked to (use Bauble to) help produce reports related to monitoring statistics of plants in a timber forest. one of the things that are needed is being able to associate different values, varying with time, for a characteristic of a plant.
if we limit the application of this to reporting (my focus is on mako), then I think I would want to just add to the <name> - [name] I just programmed for object notes. I could add a {name:key} and we actually would be done. in the sense then the problem would be to write the report template - and to pass the value of the key to the parametric report.
