What steps will reproduce the problem?
when the alarm goes off, i'm unable to dismiss it.
before the dashclock as my lockscreen widget, i just had to slide it to the
right and the alarm would dismiss
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
even when i unlock the screen, it still doesn't kill the alarm

Which device and Android version are you experiencing this issue on?
i'm using 4.2.2 on nexus 4
Are you using a custom launcher or ROM? If so, which one? Note that custom
launchers and ROMs are not supported.
