Extensions blinking during syncing #646

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. When extensions perform syncing.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
There should be smooth or one-time change of the extension content. However, 
the content of multiple extensions blinks (disappears and reappears) several 
times.

What version of the product are you using?
1.5

Which device and Android version are you experiencing this issue on?
Asus Transformer TF300TG, 4.2.1

Are you using a custom launcher or ROM? If so, which one? Note that custom 
launchers and ROMs are not supported.
Stock 4.1 launcher. I might switch to 4.2 style (Asus allows this) but I don't 
like it.

Please provide any additional information below.
