Error message shown upon loading of alerts file when using the program normally #8

The program shows that the alerts file has been corrupted even though it was empty before running a single "alert add" command. Screenshot 2023-04-14 at 5.18.19 PM.png

Nothing was done to the file in between the running of the earlier commands.
