We are missing you. We appreciate your previous work, but we need to let more people work on improving mfakto. If potential contributors don't know if their changes would be accepted, they would work on something else. But mfakto is a useful tool that deserves better.
We have a plan to relocate the mfakto repository to the primesearch organization like it has already been done to mfaktc and other Mersenne prime related software.
The relocation is not meant to be a takeover or even a fork. It is meant to be a new home of the mfakto repository where it would be further improved by the team of developers. That's why your acknowledgement would be greatly appreciated even if you don't have time to help with other issues.
The relocation is not a loophole to get new code merged without review. It will start with the existing repository. All changes on top of that repository will be reviewed before being merged.
